Bio
Adrienne serves as Associate Director of Equal Opportunity and Senior Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Iowa State University. Adrienne is also a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy & Religious Studies.Adrienne completed her undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and English at ISU. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and earned her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.
Prior to returning to ISU, Adrienne taught Philosophy at the University of San Diego and Saint Mary’s College (Indiana) and served as Director of the Justice Education Program at Saint Mary’s. Adrienne was also attorney/owner of a law firm in South Bend, Indiana.
Adrienne’s world view has been profoundly shaped by the experience of raising her identical twin sons, with whom she shares a love of Harry Potter, rollerblading, and Home Run Inn pizza. Adrienne spends her free time training for run/bike/kayak triathlons.
